Howdy!

We are the Southwesterners of the Tiefenbach family and live in an active adult community where we keep busy attending social functions, traveling, and enjoying life. We're retired and have time to be active in our community. We both enjoy traveling and have logged thousands of miles in our 26 foot travel trailer.

Keep scrolling down to meet our family and see some of the things we do for fun.

New cousins studying their family tree on computer.

Dave’s favorite hobby is researching his family roots. He’s traced his family back to 1720 in Germany and found cousins there as well as in the U.S. He’s also very involved in our local genealogy club, where he’s currently serving as Vice President and Program Chairman. Pat's interested in genealogy too, and we're always looking for information on our surnames...Bartel, Holfinger, Jackson, Simsalek, Tiefenbach, Zimmerman. Click here to see our families.

Last year Dave gave up his other hobby of garden railroading and dismantled the layout in our backyard. However we’ve kept the pictures of his impressive layout on the TRAIN page.

She is also a member of a dancing group, the "Coyote Country Cloggers," which performs in the Tucson area and has appeared on television’s Nashville Network and at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
