Vacation Time

Many of our members will be looking for cooler places this summer and we wish them safe journeys and loads of fun. Some will remain here (to guard the home front of course). But that doesn't mean there are no Shrine activities available. While there are no planned activities for our club, El Zaribah has a lot to offer.

Golf Tournament

Our major fund raiser for our club is coming up in November and we hope to make it a big success. It's a lot of work and a lot of fun. All club members are encouraged to participate in one way or another. It is becoming our only means of providing significant funds for the operation of our club and the sharing of our help with the Shrine and local charities. It provides public exposure that a monetary value can't be calculated except to say we couldn't afford to pay the price in media advertising.

There will be information coming out in our meetings and in the mail. But, the major thing needed at this time is getting sponsors. Past President Don Watkins needs our help getting sponsors and we need to call him and let him know we can do our share. We need to be aware of those we do business with as they are usually willing to provide cash or prizes if only we would only ask.
