Meeting and Dinner

If you haven't already left for cooler weather or, if like some of us you are going to stay in the Valley, the last meeting before the June, July, August period of no regular meetings is coming up.  Don't forget you can bring guests to our dinners and it is a good way to let prospective members experience the fun our club has to offer.

4:30pm Social, 5:00pm Meeting, 6:00pm Dinner.

Meal - Baked Ham, Salmon Boats, Scalloped Potatoes, Peas with Pearl Onions, Coleslaw, Dinner Rolls, Coffee/Iced Tea and for dessert Ice Cream Sundae.

All Shriners, their ladies, honorary members and guests invited.

Nobles please wear your Fez and ask your Lady to attend the meeting.

No reservations accepted after May 5th.

The Sun Lakes Shrine Club

Annual Golf Outing

Our major fund raiser for our club is coming up November 15th and we hope to make it the best ever. It's a lot of work and a lot of fun. All club members are encouraged to participate in one way or another. It has become our only means of providing funds for the operation of our club and the sharing of our help with the Shrine and local charities. It provides public exposure that a monetary value can't be calculated except to say we couldn't afford to pay the price in media advertising.

There will be information coming out in our meetings and in the mail. But, the major thing needed at this time is help in getting sponsors. Past President Don Watkins has lists of sponsors who must to be contacted and we need to call Don and let him know we can do our share. Also, we need to be aware of those we do business with as they are so willing to provide cash or prizes if only we would only ask.
